My favourite piece of technology

Well I really don't appreciate the advanced of the technology, I feel that it takes away moments from us. But I use often a lot of technology.




I can say that my favourite piece of technology is the computer. There are varied things to do on it and also is interesting and entertaining. We can do things like searching for information, listening to music, watching movies or series, talking with distant people, doing works, etc. We can do those things because it is normally connected to the internet.

The first time I used the computer I think I was 7 years old. My father let me use it, and help me with it. But it was not so interesting at that time.

I use often the computer, like almost everyday, usually for study, chat, listen music and watch series.
Sometimes I look for music videos and I start to dance. I like the computer specially because inside of it, we can find a world to search or share different things. Although sometimes is use for bad intentions and our privacy is in danger. But anyway is a risk we have to take if we want to use it, like a lot of things in life.

But I prefer to do other things that I love to do.

Why did I choose my career?

When I was a child I always wondered about the life and the things that were around me, so I used to ask my father or also I tried to search the answers of those questions on my own. There was a time that I wanted to become a president, because my father thought that I could help people. I like helping people but I realized that I didn't like studying for that.

Then, in the secondary I was interested in a lot of things to study, like medicine, physics, dancing, law, etc. I liked the sciences in general. Like in the third year of high school I was thinking about studying medicine, because I was curious and interested in neurology.  Because of that I was uncertainly to take a decision, but after a while I asked for help to my father. I told him that I like medicine, but I really like more investigate things and studying by myself. I don't remember very well but I think that he made a research and he found a career called biochemistry. So he explained the career to me and I found it interesting. I searched on the internet information about that career and also if it had a graduated study in neurosciences. Well I found very good the career it was connected to the things I liked.



With this career, I hope  I'll do researches with a solid foundation in the future, and learning now a lot of things about sciences.Well I would really like to help people with my job. I desire this is what I like.

My name is Dayna and I’m eighteen years old. I’m from Santiago, Chile. I was born here. I live with my mom(like always) and my little sister Paz, who is 7 years old. My parents are separated.I love my parents, and I love my sister so much. She is so lovely and funny. She likes to play all the time and dance and sing. She doesn't like to do homeworks... hahaha.

I’ve lived in 7 different houses during my life. The first house was my favorite and I have special memories from living there. My father lived just one half block from my house (the first one). So I saw him almost everyday. 

Well,I studied in Liceo Carmela Carvajal and I met good friends there. It was fun. Now I’m in the first year of university. There are kind people.

 

 


I like to do a lot of things. I like to dance, listen music♫, draw, watch movies, travel (in the mountains specially), play cards, eat and other things. 
Oh, and I love raspberry juice!😛

I’m a little weird sometimes, but I’m not a heavy person. Also I’m an anxious person. So sometimes I'm very complicated and insecure.

There are things that make me happy.Also,there's a person who really makes me happy now ♥ 😊
